
Ronald
Reginald's Premium Vanillas were developed by
one of the country's foremost authorities on
ice cream and flavorings, Warren LeRuth. In
addition to his other achievements, Chef LeRuth
is the founder of the renowned LeRuth's restaurant
in New Orleans. He began producing his own vanillas
in 1957, and he eventually sold them under the
LeRuth's label. Today, Ronald Reginald's products
reflect Chef LeRuth's commitment to excellence,
and they have benefited from his experience
and the time he invested in them.
In
1985, Chef LeRuth sold the business to his longtime
friend and associate, Ronnie
Sciortino. Ronnie's involvement with fine
foods began with his mother's esteemed catering
business, Regina Queen of Caterers, and he later
served as the executive chef at several of New
Orleans' finest restaurants, including Stephen
& Martin's and Que Sera.
Our
pledge to manufacture the finest flavors is
uncompromised. Our high standards are maintained
throughout the entire vanilla process--from
bean selection, through cold processing, to
slow aging. These standards result in a Pure
